How long does it take to get my rack?

All racks are built to order and we do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible! Currently, the estimated time for rack delivery is approximately 3 to 4 weeks from purchase. However, it's important to note that our lead times are estimations only and rely on various external factors that are beyond our control. We always strive to expedite the process and get your rack to you as quickly as possible. Rest assured, we're committed to keeping you informed every step of the way and providing updates to ensure a smooth experience. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

What is the load capacity of my rack?

It's crucial to adhere to the specified load capacities for your vehicle. Overloading the rack beyond its recommended capacity can compromise vehicle stability and handling. The maximum static load capacity and the on/off-road dynamic weight capacity can be found under the description of each product.

Do the Braxt racks comply with any safety standards?

Yes, the Braxt racks have been built to suit ADR Compliance and Australian Standards and have been tested for performance. They have been tested and comply with ISO/PAS 11154:2006 which specifies the minimum safety requirements for all roof load carriers intended for mounting on or above the roofs of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.

Can you install my rack?

Yes, absolutely! We can offer professional installation services for your rack to ensure a seamless and secure setup. Our experienced technicians are skilled in proper installation techniques and will ensure that your rack is installed correctly and safely onto your vehicle. Do I need any special tools to install the rack on my vehicle?

To install our racks, you will require a socket set with sizes up to 24mm and a torque wrench. For detailed torque specifications, please refer to the installation instructions provided. These tools will ensure a proper and secure installation of the rack system on your truck. If you have any further questions or need assistance during the installation process, our customer service team will be happy to help.

Can the rack system be easily removed?

Yes, the rack system can be easily removed or disassembled when needed. By removing the main bolts that hold the rack to your vehicle, the entire rack system can be taken apart or detached. This feature allows for temporary removal of the rack system to accommodate different needs or situations.

What is my rack made out of?

Your rack is crafted with the highest quality materials to withstand the demands of your adventures. We construct our racks using a combination of durable aluminium and corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The main structure of the rack is expertly formed with long-lasting aluminium, while the stake pockets are specifically made from 6061 billet aluminium for enhanced strength and reliability. This meticulous selection of materials ensures sturdy construction and longevity, allowing you to tackle rugged terrains with confidence. Are there any specific maintenance requirements for the rack?

When it comes to maintaining the stainless steel lockable drawer slides with ball bearings, there are a few key steps to ensure their longevity and smooth operation. Can I pick up my order?

Yes, you can certainly pick up your rack from our warehouse located in Holden Hill, SA. Please note that for pick up, it is necessary to have a Ute, car trailer, or truck to accommodate the size of the rack (approx. 1800 x 1800). Additionally, we have a forklift on-site, which will be used to safely load the rack onto your vehicle. When placing your order, please select 'Direct pick-up' under the Freight Options section and we will coordinate the details with you. We look forward to assisting you and ensuring a smooth order collection process. Please note, there is no discount for in-person pickup but it will save time on shipping!

What happens if I receive my rack and it is damaged?

Upon receiving your rack, it is crucial to inspect your order immediately for any damage.
